Every year, a pastry chef or confectioner creates a cake for a well-known celebrity. The presentation of the sweet masterpiece takes place before just midnight rings and it has become one of the highlights of the ZuckerBäckerball.
In 2024, the Celebrity Cake was awarded to well-known opera singer and painter Herbert Lippert. He also delighted ball guests with a performance, which fit in nicely with the festive opening of the ball.
