"May we have this dance?" Anticipation for the 124th ZuckerBäckerball is rising. On 14 January 2027, the Hofburg Vienna will once again transform into the country’s sweetest ballroom as the 124th ZuckerBäckerball opens its doors, a fixture in the Viennese ball calendar.
Experience an incomparable highlight of the Viennese ball season, where master craftsmanship meets grand ball tradition. Look forward to a unique blend of dancing, live music, exquisite pastry art and confectionery.
In our two show bakeries, bakers and pastry chefs will demonstrate their craft live, while the prestigious Zuckerbäcker Award honours artistry of culinary craftsmanship of the most impressive confectionery masterpieces inspired by this year's motto: "Circus".
Another highlight is the ceremonial presentation of the Celebrity Cake during the midnight show. Who will receive this sweet surprise remains a secret until "Ball Mother" Birgit Sarata reveals the name in December.
Alongside dancing, music, and sweet surprises, a varied program awaits you, making this evening a true highlight of the ball season.

Youth tickets are available to anyone born in or after 2001. Age must be verified with a valid photo ID at the entrance on the evening of the ball.
Please note that there will be no evening box office (tickets at the door) at the Hofburg. Admission tickets and table reservations must be purchased in advance and cannot be booked on the evening of the ball.
